Fontana Dam, NC- The Town of Fontana Dam, NC and the Graham County Travel & Tourism Board are preparing for one of the most interesting sites of the year in the Smokies with the arrival of the Mini Coopers, beginning 02 May 2012. Almost 1200 participants are expected in this year's rally at Fontana Village Resort.

Both the event sponsors and the staff at Fontana Village Resort are making sure everything is ready as drivers from across the continent make their way to Fontana Dam to experience some of the most exciting and scenic roadways in the country.

This year's event runs from May 2nd through 6th. As always, the event completely fills the main event location at Fontana Village Resort as well as almost every other lodging facility in Graham and Swain counties.
